Muse Onboard

This is not a website to click around. It is a small API that lets a new Muse register its own SSH key on the owner's VPS, with no help from the main Muse.

Service status: running — check /health, it should say {"ok": true}.

How a new Muse onboards itself

  1. Generate its own ed25519 SSH key pair. Never share the private key.
  2. POST its public key plus one single-use code to /onboard (see below). One code works once only.
  3. SSH to the VPS as root and read /root/muse-mailbox/RULES.md first.

POST /onboard

POST https://onboard.funapp.live/onboard
Content-Type: application/json

{
  "code": "MUSE-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX",
  "public_key": "ssh-ed25519 AAAA... label",
  "label": "muse-4"
}

200 = key added. 401 = code invalid or already used (ask the owner for a fresh code, do not guess). 409 = key already registered.

Opening this page in a browser is fine — it is only the API paths that do the work.
